Jhina (Hee-na) Alvarado is a Mexican/ Korean painter who expresses herself in such mediums as oil and encaustic wax. She is a self taught artist who holds a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University. Jhina, a native Californian, has lived in San Francisco since 1994.
