Encaustics is a medium in which pigments are suspended in a binder of hot wax. It is applied while melted and then a heat source, such as a blow torch, is used to fuse the medium to the surface.

The majority of the work on this site were done in encaustic wax and oil paints. If you would like to purchase any of these paintings or visit my studio, email Jhina at
